Divorce: March 3, 1997, Mesa, Maricopa Co, AZ

MaryLynn is the daughter of Cleo Ray and Thelma Arndt Tavis. She was born in Kansas as that was the closest hospital at the time to Alva, Woods Co, OK. She lived there until the family moved to Mesa AZ in about 1956.

As you will note, the dress was western. We asked the guests to dress western or casual. Which they gladly did, no pomp and ties and tails here!! Thre were approximately 50 people at the wedding and the reception.

MaryLynn was given away by her two sons, Johnnie and Matthew Hansen. My daughter, Sonja Annette Womack Ward, stood up for me.

The reception was catered by Naomi and James Olendese. Jim is a co-worker that occasionally will cater parties and such. They did an excellent job! The ususal cake cutting and champagne actions were performed; as well as the opening of gifts.

Music was provided by cassette tapes and Radio Station KNIX and was 100% pure country.
